This track was inspired by the artwork made by game developer and artist Anton Falk.
On this one I wanted to tell a story of lost beauty and the decay of all things. I worked with a limited set of instruments and called upon Oskar Lemke to play the lead cello. We recorded the cello with several microphones in different positions, and I did my best in the mix to balance epicness and intimacy.

For this track I went beyond my usual instrument selection and included throat singing, shouts, grunts, bowed electric bass and various recordings of metal objects all made by me. A combination of different horns, flutes and strings accompanied by large drums is used as a basis to establish the epic fantasy sound.
